Postgraduate Taught Global Update as of August 2025

Our unique Pulse trackers and Share of Search data provide insights on thousands of prospective students interested in Global Masters study opportunities. As of August 2025, we’re seeing that:

• Interest in Irish Masters study continues to grow from North America, Africa and Europe - with the latter having almost doubled their interest compared to July last year. Meanwhile interest in US, German, and Italian Masters falls from all tracked audiences, though they each remain
  popular study destinations overall.
  
  
• Asian and African audiences see a shift even further towards On Campus study, with more than 80% of both audiences preferring it. Western audiences (Europe and North America) see a subtle shift towards flexibility.
  
  
• Audiences for all tracked destinations (with the exception of the Netherlands) see a slight shift towards Autumn 2025 as we approach these entry dates. Between 20% and 30% of all audiences are currently looking at entry during 2026/27 academic year.
  
  
• After growth in interest from various audiences, both Medicine and Nursing & Healthcare are in the top 5 specialisms for three of our four tracked destinations.
