Postgraduate Taught Global Update as of January 2026
Our unique Pulse trackers and Share of Search data provide insights on thousands of prospective students interested in Global Masters study opportunities. As of January 2026, we’re seeing that:
- Italy continues to be the beneficiary of widespread growth as we enter 2026 - European, Asian and African audiences are all significantly more likely to search for an Italian Masters compared to last year’s interest levels.
- Delivery preferences remain remarkably similar from both African and Asian audiences, with around 85% of each seeking On Campus delivery. European and North American audiences are more likely to seek flexibility, however, both see a slight shift towards On Campus opportunities.
- Entry point interests continue to shift from Spring 2026 to Autumn 2026. More than half of audiences for all tracked destinations are now targeting an Autumn 2026 start date, and between 68% and 74% of audiences across our tracked destinations are looking towards the 2026/27 academic year.
- Interest in fields of Biological Sciences falls significantly from those interested in an Irish or Dutch Masters - despite this, it remains a top 5 discipline area for both.
