Our unique Pulse trackers and Share of Search data provide insights on thousands of prospective international students interested in Global PhD opportunities. As of October 2024, we’re seeing that:

• Asian and African audiences pivot away from traditional PGR study destinations such as the US and Germany, with China appearing to be the preferred alternative.
  
  
• European audiences remain the most interested in flexible delivery overall. North Americans see a rise in interest for Online study.
  
  
• Spring 2025 continues to be the most popular entry point across a range of destinations. The pipeline for the USA and the Netherlands is slightly longer, with audiences more likely to consider the 2025/26 academic year.
  
  
• Biological Sciences and Engineering specialisms remain popular for all destinations, while interest for US study is pivoting towards fields of Computer Science.
