Postgraduate Research Pulse Update as of June 2024

Our unique Pulse trackers and Share of Search data provide insights on thousands of prospective international students interested in UK PhD opportunities. As of June 2024, we’re seeing that:

• International Share of Search saw a significant fall from non-EU audiences in May, possibly reflecting uncertainty over the Graduate Route during this period. We'll keep an eye on this data in June.
• Attitudes to Study have remained fairly stable for both domestic and international audiences since March 2024.
• Specialisms from the Computer Science discipline area continue to lead the way for year-on-year search growth, however, we have also seen significant growth for interest in Marketing.
