Postgraduate Research Pulse Update as of Sep 2023

Our unique Pulse trackers and Share of Search data provide insights on thousands of prospective international students interested in UK PhD opportunities. As of Sep 2023, we’re seeing that:

• Prospective students are feeling more positive about UK PhD study, with a substantial increase for domestic audiences; the pipeline is now focussing on 2024 with over 40% of people considering Spring starts
• We’re continuing to see growth in Share of Search amongst UK, Indian and European audiences; offset by a drop from North America
• We’re continuing to see increased interest in Computer Science from both UK and international audiences
