Postgraduate Taught Pulse Update as of Aug 2023

Our unique Pulse trackers and Share of Search data provide insights on thousands of prospective international students interested in UK Masters study opportunities. As of Aug 2023, we’re seeing that:

• Domestic confidence in Masters study continues to slowly recover, with around 40% of students still looking at Autumn entry amidst accelerating interest in Spring 24
• South Asian (Indian) Share of Search has overtaken the UK, but domestic interest is actually stabilising year-on-year; African interest continues to fall
• Domestic interest in Computer Science is up year-on-year (driven by AI subject areas); Arts, Humanities and Social Science have increased international Share of of Search (driven by European and North American interest).
