Postgraduate Taught Pulse Update as of Jan 2024

Our unique Pulse trackers and Share of Search data provide insights on thousands of prospective international students interested in UK Masters study opportunities. As of Jan 2024, we’re seeing that:

• There’s been a ‘Christmas uptick’ in positive sentiment about Masters study amongst domestic audiences - we’ll monitor this as we go into 2024
• Interest in Autumn 2024 isn’t overtaking Spring 2024 as we’d expect at this point in the cycle
• We’ve reviewed a year of Share of Search trends and seen a clear correlation between non-EU interest and visa announcements; EU data is much more encouraging
• Subjects and specialisms are fairly stable, with Psychology seeing growth whilst Business and Social Sciences drop
