Postgraduate Taught Pulse Update as of May 2024

Our unique Pulse trackers and Share of Search data provide insights on thousands of prospective international students interested in UK Masters study opportunities. As of May 2024, we’re seeing that:

• Domestic audiences have become more unsure about Masters study in recent months; there is a similar effect for internationals, but overall confidence remains much higher here.
• International Share of Search from outside the EU has seen a slight further drop after stabilising. This could be a result of apprehension caused by the pending Graduate Route review.
• Around 40% of searching audiences are now targeting 2025 entry for a UK Masters; however, international interest in Spring 2024 ('asap') remains sticky.
