Postgraduate Taught UK Update as of September 2024

Our unique Pulse trackers and Share of Search data provide insights on thousands of prospective international students interested in UK Masters study opportunities. As of September 2024, we’re seeing that:

• Share of Search is up from both EU and non-EU audiences. This marks the third consecutive month of rising EU interest.
  
  
• Positive Sentiment has risen for Domestic and International audiences; the proportion of international responses saying they feel ‘very confident’ about UK PGT study has risen by 9 percentage points since July.
  
  
• More than 50% of UK Returners are still considering Autumn 2024 entry, but interest in 2025 is beginning to grow. UK Continuers and International audiences are more interested in 2025 and beyond.
  
  
• Our Spotlight this month explores the development of domestic PGT enrolments since 2016/17. We see the substantial impact of the pandemic in increasing enrolments during the 2020/21 academic year, and the sustained effect it has had for students aged 30+ since then.
