We wrapped up our 2025 Winter events season at the end of February – and it’s been a blast! Over 1900 students attended our Postgrad LIVE study fairs across five different locations and we hosted a total of 190 UK and 11 international exhibitors. Here’s a quick recap of how it went.
We kicked off our Winter events season in Edinburgh on Wednesday 5 February at the stunning McEwan Hall, The University of Edinburgh. With over 370 enthusiastic prospective students in attendance, the event was buzzing with excitement as they explored postgraduate opportunities, connected with exhibitors and soaked up insights from our exclusive talks.
After a week’s break, we made our way to Liverpool for our busiest fair of the season, drawing in an impressive number of over 470 students!
Our third event of the season took place on Wednesday 19 February, at Cardiff University, where we hosted our very first Postgrad LIVE event in Wales! It was fantastic to explore a new location and connect with even more prospective students.
The very next day, we made our way to a very windy and wet Birmingham, for our fourth Postgrad LIVE study fair. Despite the weather, over 300 students powered through the elements to seek guidance on their study journey. We also introduced our first-ever silent disco-style talks programme, which was a big hit!
We wrapped up our Postgrad LIVE Winter study fair season with an exciting final stop in London on Wednesday 26 February. The event welcomed over 450 attendees, all eager to explore their postgraduate options and connect with universities and experts.

Looking ahead...
Thank you to all our exhibitors and attendees for an incredible Winter event season! It was fantastic to support students on their postgraduate journey.
Our talks programme was a huge success, with packed sessions on research proposals, Master's funding, and Postgrad 101. Connect for Events, introduced in Autumn 2024, returned to our Winter event season, helping students find universities offering their courses. One attendee from our Edinburgh fair called it "easy to use and very effective," while another from our Cardiff fair found it "very helpful."
